Facebook Community Standards are Prejudicial towards Muslims
You may have heard about the Government of Myanmar whom used Facebook directly to commit genocide and displays 1 million Muslims, and as outcries of horror came across the offices of Facebook, the company turned a blind eye and allowed it to continue stating that it was “allowing freedom of speech and freedom of expression” on its platform and did not want to act as a “censoror”, although Facebook’s algorithms are infact filters that decide what its users actually see, which is censorship, but those standard are not equally balanced and are heavily bias against Muslim freedom of speech, demonstration and freedom of expression and in fact Facebook is used as a hate tool against Muslims.
Content which is flagged, deemed inappropriate or “against Facebook Community Standards” is judged heavily with a bias, which values its standards based not on the principle of the content, meaning that the same 2 items can be posted but if one is favorable to a Muslim view point, it will be censored.
For example: You can PAY FACEBOOK to run ADS directly against Muslims and they will accept the payment and run racially discriminatory ads attacking Muslims and Muslim communities, BUT a small moderate criticism of Caucasians or reference to Israel or Jewish people will immediately raise flags.
Imagine of all the millions of hourly messages and posts, Facebook will find the most moderate to flag but it wont do the same when vicious racial attacks and commentary is left about and against Muslims.
Not even when its advertising which Facebook directly reviews runs hateful ads against Muslims. When its users alert Facebook of these vicious attacks, does Facebook take action by saying its against “Community Standards”. NO. Infact Facebook reviews the content again and still finds it to be part of it “Community Standards”, and in so many words, tells you what FACEBOOK STANDS FOR !
